The preferable coat colors in this breed are those that resemble wild felines: golden, yellow, tawny, brown, chocolate, black, creamy and ivory. Cats should be spotted, rosetted or marble; solid colors are disqualified. Spots should be contrasting with the background and have distinct edges.
