Both variations can be spotted or marbled. Recently, there appeared many new colors of these animals, but not all of them are accepted. Black and blue coats cannot be accepted. The characteristic feature of the breed is having spots contrasting to the background.

This breed is usually short-haired, but sometimes long-haired kittens are born. These animals are rather large and reach above 15 pounds in weight. There are two color variations in the breed: traditional tabby that looks like those of wild felines and snow. Obtain a cat bengal picture at rescues.
